April 1, 2003:  Mother Nature played an April Fool’s trick on the residents in Illinois. We enjoyed a brief taste of summer-like-weather as the high climbed to 81 DEGREES at   O'HARE..., which is just one degree shy of tying the record.  Rockford also climbed to 81 DEGREES... this ended up setting a new record high!  However, just three days later, the high temperatures didn’t climb out of the 30’s for FIVE CONSECUTIVE DAYS.

Alright already with this weather… bring on the SUN~
